Creative Women was bron out of a genuine intention of creating a space for all of us to meet, hear and share the problematics that intersect us. In addition to learning about the work of creative women—cis/trans—who are building their work from diverse disciplines, forming a platform of sorts for sharing and making their colleagues visible.

Since 2022 we have made this possible thanks to Proyecto Públicos and donations from different organizations and brands. All participating initiatives are remunerated.

We are a collective of diverse women, who inhabit different spaces and professions, just like systems of oppression cross us in multiple ways. We inhabit bodies and identities full of meanings, privileges and places, we know that. That is why we decided to come together, because by creating and enabling other meeting spaces we also share, through listening we learn and question ourselves.

We believe in the power of making collective enjoyment and questioning possible, of looking at each other from the differences, of enabling dialogues and thus, perhaps, we do not transform the world but we do live locally from other places.

We believe in the power that art, learning spaces and women's struggles are intertwined and draw other possibilities of being and existing in this world crossed by dynamic violence and dispossession.
